Regulations
When your child is placed in one of our day nurseries you will receive an intake brochure containing information about our policy concerning illness, the daily schedule, bringing and collecting children, festivities and so on. Parents are given a copy of our general terms and and house regulations before they sign the placement contract. You can read more about our policy here.
Adjustment period
Children and parents will always need time to adjust to the change from the home situation to the nursery. At the nursery we consider the upbringing of children to be a joint responsibility of parents and nursery staff. We consider the adjustment period to be important, just like full consultation and mutual agreement between the nursery staff and parents. We pay considerable attention to intake interviews, evaluations and discussing the transition between groups.
During the placement period, which lasts for about two weeks, new children do not immediately stay in the group for the whole day. Our nursery staff will discuss the adjustment period with you. You will receive information about our policy concerning illness, the daily schedule, bringing and collecting children, festivities and so on, during the intake at the nursery.

Opening hours
The nurseries are open 51 weeks of the year, weekdays from 8 am to 6 pm, and are closed on national holidays. The nurseries are closed between Christmas and New Year's Day and on our yearly study day, which will be announced in advance. Look at our current holidays.
