Registration
All parents may register for one or more of our nurseries. Registration is possible once an expected date of birth is established. Registration is done by completing the registration form. Your request will be centrally processed and you receive a confirmation of registration on the waiting list.

Waiting list
Currently, there is a waiting list, including children not yet born.
Unfortunately, we cannot give you the exact date when you will be offered a place as this depends on several factors, such as the age of your child and the days you have requested. For a balanced age range within a group, the children are selected according to the quarter of the year they were born in. When a place becomes available, we consider the waiting list, the age of the child, the registration date, and the preferred nursery days and nursery.
The waiting period for a place will depend on the age of the child. The waiting period is longer for 0 to 1 year olds than for older children.
The waiting list for Wednesdays and Fridays is generally shortest. It is now possible to check for immediate vacancies in the various age groups and nurseries. Our planning staff will contact you as soon as your child can be placed. We check the waiting list once a year and update all of the information registered in our database accordingly. For further information, please contact the Stek main office.

Fees
Parents are approached by the main office with an offer of a place. You can then make an appointment to visit the nursery. If you accept the place, the main office will draw up a contract and determine the fees.
The funding of childcare in the Netherlands was changed drastically as of 1 January 2005. For further information about the Dutch Childcare Provisions Act please visit the website of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. You can also contact our staff. The fees for 2010 have been determined and you can find these in the Stek 2010 price list.
