De Waterlelie

In Februari 2008 Stek opened her latest location, nursery " De Waterlelie " in the Watergraafsmeer part of Amsterdam. It is situated on the Carolina Mac Gillavrylaan, near the Science Park . A new train station is also being built at this site. De  Waterlelie consists of four vertical groups, each with 12 children from 0 to 4 years old. All the groups  have access to a wonderful closed garden where the children can cycle and play with sand to their hearts content. We were able, of course, to incorporate many child development ideas about the layout of the groups in the building plans.
